I have been always been intrigued with the myths of vampires and werewolves it seems my whole life. I grew more indulged as I started reading novels, hard to collect fables and what history I could get that adhered to my interest. I would have to say that Brian Lumley is one of my favorite Vampire novelists, but, there are other numerous artists that I could put upon this page. Recently I started collecting the horror films of today and the movies forgotten on the reels from the years past.
A little of my history to say, my grandparents came over from Italy when they were young and settled in the mountains of Montana, where I grew up and later moved to Anaconda. About my 9th grade year I moved away from home and came out to Washington to stay with my dad and make my life. Yet my desires and dreams seem to draw me back to the place in which I was given life. But as the days seem to linger on and this concrete maze we call earth and it seems to engulf the creative nature of me I fight for a balance which I put in my writing to keep me sane.. Yet, my thoughts always call me back and I would love to spend the rest of my days under the open skies of the beautiful countryside of Montana.
The friends I acquire seem to spark once again my passion for writing and thoughts in poetry. Do not misunderstand me; for I use the word friend ever so lightly, being mistreated in the past by so called friends that blindsided me. For I put up doors in my mind to block the past and emotions that seem to be hurt by mortals, maybe some day the doors will again reopen, but not yet. If, by chance I do call you friend it is something I feel strongly on and the meaning of this will always be and never misused.
To those who read the words within these pages, may they know my thoughts and feelings of my immortal soul? These thoughts and feelings of mine are not intended to hurt, disgust and turn those who read these words upon these pages away from their own strict morals. These are my feelings, dreams and the uneasy thoughts of life and death as I live through this so imperfect world and yet make it what I may. Those I Let read these thoughts, I Let within the locked doors of my mind. Past the locks that I have secured upon these large oak doors that protect me from the hurt that mortals cause to each other.
I have done what I set out to do if these thoughts grip you in a manner that makes you think or express a hidden desire to write, and make you crave the right to live and dream.
Read these words upon these pages with an open mind and let these words create the moods inside your mind and soul that I have endeavored. May you feel my love, pain and anger that has come to control my immortal essence. Love and dream and let your mind create what is not imaginable to those who cannot see the true meaning of life.
